This togher (L 2.9m min.; Wth 1.67m; D 0.09m), orientated NW-SE, consisted of longitudinally laid brushwood (av. diam. 0.04-0.05m; L 0.1-1.8m min.) and occasional roundwood (av. diam. 0.07m; L 0.1-1.8m min.) loosely laid, one to two pieces deep. The wood was in a very poor condition and no toolmarks were present. Species identified included ash, oak and apple-type.
