The National Monuments Service's description

A small platform (L 3.3m; Wth 2.66m; D 0.21m), orientated NW-SE, consisted an upper layer of parallel brushwood (diam. 0.03-0.05m; L. 2.18m max.) and roundwood (diam. 0.09-0.1m; L 3m max.). The wood was laid one to two pieces deep but was deposited in two separate groups between which, in the centre, was a gap of 0.7m. A lower layer consisted of a deposit of irregularly laid twigs and occasional brushwood covering an area of approximately 1m square. The wood in the upper layer lay directly below topsoil and was in a poor condition. The lower layer was moderately preserved. Metal-cut toolmarks were present on pieces in both layers (Moore and O’Connor 2009a, 25, EDC 14).
