The National Monuments Service's description

This togher (L 2.92m; Wth 1.02m; D 0.11m), orientated N‑S, was composed of longitudinally laid small brushwood (diam. 0.01‑0.03m), twigs (diam. <0.01m; L 0.7m) and a single roundwood. The elements were quite densely laid with the roundwood placed in the centre. The wood was in good condition with intact bark on the majority of pieces. Woodworking was evidenced by metal‑cut toolmarks throughout. With the exception of one piece of willow, all of the wood was of apple‑type. This togher lay 0.1m to the N of the NE edge of another togher (LF004‑012‑‑‑‑) in Trench 6 and is believed to be of the same date (Moore and O’Connor 2009a, 22, EDC 11).
