The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a low but prominent drumlin in pasture. A report in 1976 noted that this raised circular area (diam. c. 35m) was enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone and an external fosse. The original entrance may have been at NE. It is defined by a scarp (H 1-2m) and the fosse (Wth 6.5m; D 0.4m) is only identifiable from N-NE. The scarp and some of the interior have been removed from NE-E-S.
