The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the top of the W-facing slope of a small drumlin. This is a grass and scrub-covered subcircular platform (int. dims 38m NNW-SSE; 32m NE-SW; H 1.3-1.5m) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth of base 5m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.55m) largely reduced to a scarp which is the inner edge of a flat-bottomed fosse (at NE: Wth of top 6.8m; Wth of base 2.9m; ext. D 1.6m). This is surrounded by a flat-topped earthen bank (at NE: Wth of base 6.4m; Wth of top 3m; ext. H 1.1m). This middle bank is separated by a flat-bottomed fosse (at NE: Wth of top 6.8m; Wth of base 3m; ext. D 1m) from a third outer bank (at NE: Wth of base 3m; ext. H 1.1m) and an external fosse (at NE: Wth of base 4m; ext. D 0.2m). The maximum external dimension is c. 75m. There is an entrance through the middle bank (Wth of base 2.9m) and the outer bank (Wth of base 2.8m), the latter of which is now blocked, at E.
