The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the SE-facing slope of a low drumlin. This is a grass-covered oval area (int. dims 32m NE-SW; 18m NW-SE) defined by a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 3.8m; H 0.6m) W-N-SE and a scarp (H 0.6m) elsewhere, with traces of a fosse visible as a shallow depression (Wth 1.5m; D 0.1m) N-NE. Attached to the S is a rectangular annexe visible as a grass-covered area (dims 26m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth 1.4m; H 0.35m) at S and a fosse (Wth of top 3.2m; int. D 0.35m; ext. D 0.1m) at W. The E edge is provided by a N-S field bank.
