The National Monuments Service's description

Located at the bottom of a NW-facing slope and c. 25m from the present SE shore of Drumaleague Lough. Archaeological monitoring of an afforestation project by Richard Crumlish identified a spread of broken and burnt stone (Wth 3m; T 0.2m) in a drainage ditch. It was immediately below the surface and was laid on peat which rested on marl.
