The National Monuments Service's description
There is a reference to a St Patrick's Well in Clooney townland at the very edge of Keshcarrigan Lake, which was often covered by the lake water. There were no stations or pattern held at the well at the time (Faughnan 1944). There are no further references to this well, not even in the Schools Manuscripts, and if it exists it remains unlocated.
