The National Monuments Service's description

Located on the N-facing slope of a small drumlin. This is a grass and rush-covered subcircular platform (dims 44m E-W; 40m N-S; H 0.65m) with a hedge at the perimeter defined by a slight fosse (Wth 2.15m; D 0.1m). The original entrance is not identified. A depression (L 10m; Wth 2m; D 0.15m) in the N interior may be a collapsed souterrain.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
