The National Monuments Service's description
Located at the bottom of the N-facing slope of Sheemore Hill. This is a grass-covered subcircular area (int. dims 31m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 8m; max. H 0.45m). There is no visible fosse or entrance.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
