The National Monuments Service's description
There is a reference to the discovery of a souterrain in the 1930s or 1940s on Leitrim Hill and close to the caste at Port (LE027-065----). It may have been close to the rath (LE027-066----), but it was closed up without being explored (Blaney 1944).
