The National Monuments Service's description

Located on the NW-facing slope of a small drumlin. This is depicted as a small hachured feature only on the 1911 edition of the OS 6-inch map. It is an overgrown subcircular area (dims 18.6m N-S; 15.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank which is best preserved at S (Wth 1.2m; H 0.2m). An original entrance is not identified.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
