The National Monuments Service's description

Situated towards the top of the SE-facing slope of a NNE-SSW drumlin ridge. This is a grass and rush-covered oval area (int. dims 30.5m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3.5m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.35m) SW-N which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.8-1.2m) elsewhere, and a fosse represented by an external band of rushes (Wth 2m) at NW. The original entrance is not identified. Rath (LE027-116----) is c. 35m to the N and rath (LE027-118----) is c. 30m to the W.
