The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a rise in an undulating landscape. This is a grass-covered subcircular platform (int. dims. 38m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by an intermittently visible earthen bank (Wth 4-6m; max. H 0.45m). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the interior is partly quarried at SW.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
