The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a clearing within a mature conifer plantation on old parkland of Drumhierny Lodge that was c. 200m to the N. The parkland had been laid out by P. Latouche and was worthy of note (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 214). This is a circular overgrown area (int. diam. 32m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.35) and outer fosse or drain (Wth of base 2.8m; ext. D 0.2m). There is no visible entrance.
