The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a low NW-SE drumlin ridge. This is an overgrown circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by an intermittently visible scarp (H 0.25m) and slight evidence of a waterlogged fosse. It remains unplanted in a coniferous forest planted c. 2010 (Bing 2013).

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
