The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in italic lettering as a 'Mound', and situated in blanket bog on the summit of a NW-SE mountain ridge bordering counties Leitrim and Roscommon. It is not visible at ground level, and was undoubtedly a boundary mound set up by the Ordinance Survey. It is the same as (RO002A-003----).
