The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a W-facing slope with a house c. 30m to the S. A D-shaped mound (dims 4m NW-SE; 3m NE-SW; H 2.1m) contains a circular drystone-built chamber (int. diam. 1.65m) with a corbelled roof (H 1.6m) and a lintelled entrance (Wth 0.6m; H 0.55m) at W which leads to a drystone-built forecourt (dims 2.9m NE-SW; 2.1m NW-SE; max. H 1m).

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
