The National Monuments Service's description
Located towards the bottom of a N-facing slope and beside a N-S causeway across marshland. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map and there is a house marked on that map c. 150m to the S, but a house is marked c. 80m to the SE on the 1835 edition. A D-shaped mound (dims 3m E-W; 2.5m N-S; H 0.5 at S to 2.2m at N) contains a chamber (int. diam. 1.6m) with a corbelled roof (H 1.8m) and an entrance (Wth 0.44m; H 0.53m; L 0.5m) at N.
