The National Monuments Service's description
Located towards the bottom of the N-facing slope of a broad hill and c. 10m S of an ENE-WSW road, which is part of the green road known as the Miners Way. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map with a house c. 100m to the N. A D-shaped mound (dims 3m E-W; 2.5m N-S; H 0.8-2.2m) contains a chamber (int. dims 1.55m x 1.6m; H 1.9m) with a corbelled roof and a lintelled entrance (Wth 0.56m; H 0.56m) at N.
