The National Monuments Service's description
It is situated on the N bank of an E-W mountain stream. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map with a house c. 200m to SW. This is a circular corbelled chamber (diam. 1.6-1.7m; H 2m) with an entrance (Wth 0.6m; H 0.55m) at ESE. The chamber is built into a natural slope and is almost completely invisible.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
