The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a shoulder of the SE-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass and crub-covered subcircular area (int. dims 28.5m N-S; 22.2m E-W), which remains unplanted in a coniferous forest, defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5-6m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.6-1m), and an external flat- bottomed fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.1-0.4m) E-S-N. The bank is reduced to a scarp (H 0.7m) at S and the monument is trisected by an E-W field bank and drains meeting a N-S bank and drains at the centre. The original entrance is not identified. Rath (LE015-077----) is c. 100m to the WNW and rath (LE015-078----) is c. 95m to the NNW.
