The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the crest of a S-facing slope and within view of the fortified house (LE014-008---) and the 19th-century Dromahaire Lodge, which are c. 500m to NW. This is a circular area (diam. 11m) planted with coniferous trees and defined by a scarp (max. H 0.6m), with a slight bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 0.7m) at S. It is probably tree-ring.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
