The National Monuments Service's description
John O'Donovan writing in the 1830s recorded the name of a well - Tober Padraig - in the townland of Lughawnagh (Flanagan 1929, 132), and Faughnan (1943) says it is on the land of Hugh Mc Cordick, but even then it was not remembered beyond its name.
