The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the outer edge of a shelf on the N-facing slope of the Leean plateau, with cliffs (H c. 25m) rising over it c. 25m to the S. It is overlooking the Glencar valley and has wide views out NW-E-SE. This is one of three house sites and a drystone built structure on this shelf. It was first identified by Kytmannow as a hut-site in Area G. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (ext. dims 8.8m WNW-ESE; 4.3m NNE-SSW; int. dims 6.8m WNW-ESE; 2m NNE-SSW)defined by the grass-covered foundations of stone walls. There is an entrance (Wth 0.7m) towards the E end of the N wall.
