The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland river valley with higher ground to the N. A well preserved sub-circular hut site (int. diam. 3.9m) defined by a low grass covered footings of a drystone wall (T 0.75m; H 0.4m) is visible from S through E to NNE. Elsewhere there is no enclosing element. The lack of an enclosing element on the upslope of the hill indicates that the builders used the drystone wall to create a level platform that has been raised on the downslope and held in place by the stone revetment. The walling on the downslope consists of a double row of boulders and is built in a similar fashion to some of the pre-bog field walls on the mountain. No clear entrance feature is visible. The hut site (LE011-141----) is c. 40m to the E.
