The National Monuments Service's description

Indicated as a square enclosure (dims. c. 25m x c. 25m) defined by field banks on the 1835 edition of OS 6-inch map, and as a circular hachured feature (diam. c. 30m) on the 1943 ed. It is situated in reclaimed pasture on a gentle rise on the floor of the Bonet River, with a NNW-SSE section of the stream c. 20m to the W. No feature is visible at ground level.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
