The National Monuments Service's description

In an undulating landscape with rock outcrop on the floor of the Bonet river valley. Overgrown circular area (int. diam. c. 21m) defined by a stone spread (Wth 4-5m; H 0.25-0.4m) with facing-stones intermittently visible. The entrance (Wth 1.1m) is at SW.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
