The National Monuments Service's description

Located at the NW edge of a flat-topped plug of rock (dims of top 95m N-S; 85m E-W). Grass-covered earthen mound (diam. 18m; H 2.5m) with a quarry on top (dims 7.5m x 4.8m; D 0.4m) but no structural features are visible. The topsoil on top of much of the plug has been removed and the mound may be spoil.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
