The National Monuments Service's description
Located towards the bottom of a S-facing slope at the N shore of Lough Gill. Overgrown subcircular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by a round-topped earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m at N). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
