The National Monuments Service's description
At an abandoned farmstead on a slight W-facing slope in forestry. Recorded by the Leitrim Sweathouse Project as built into an E-W field boundary. The boundary (Wth 1.2m) broadens (Wth 3.95m) at the location of the sweathouse which survives as a collapsed, drystone, circular chamber (diams. 1.6m E-W; c.1.5m N-S) with an opening (Wth 1.5m) facing NNW. Stonework is visible internally (int. H 0.6m at E; wall T c.0.9m). The site is obscured by trees growing within and on the walls and the whole structure is covered by a fallen tree which lies across it.
