The National Monuments Service's description
On a S-facing slope on the W side of a NE-SW stream. Indicated as a sweat house only on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map with no houses in the vicinity. It is visible as a slight scrub-covered hollow (diam. c. 3m; D 0.3m).
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
