The National Monuments Service's description
Faughnan (1943) recorded the tradition that there was formerly a burial ground in the field where there was the tradition of a church (site). This was 'distant one field' from that which contained the holy well (LE005-017----). He noted that 'Whatever burial stones or other grave markings there were in the field' had disappeared by the time of his visit. The location of this feature is not known.
