The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in rough pasture on a prominent knoll of limestone outcrop, which is on the plateau on the N side of the NW-SE Glenaniff valley. This is a D-shaped grass and heather-covered area (int. dims 49m E-W; 41m N-S) defined by the remains of a stone wall (Wth 1.5-3.5m; H c. 0.2m) attached to the N side of a court tomb (LE004-00901-). It is overlain by a N-S drystone field wall towards the perimeter at W. The original entrance is not identified.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
