The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a hillock on the floor of Glenade valley. Grass-covered subcircular area (int. dims 21.5m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2m-3m; H 0.2m), which is reduced to a stone-covered scarp (H 0.8-1.3m) with a berm (Wth 2m) and slight outer bank or wall (L 9m) at W. The possible souterrain (LE003-01602-) is in the interior at NW, and there is a possible sweathouse at E (LE003-016003-).
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
