The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the bottom of a steep E-facing slope at the NE foothills of Tievebaun Mountain and abutting the outside of the perimeter of cashel (LE003-007001-) at NW. A drystone-built bench (L 6m; Wth 1-1.6m; H 0.4-0.6m), which may be part of the cashel wall, is known locally as a mass-rock. (Faughnan 1943, file 137)
