The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the top of a rise close to the seashore of Donegal Bay. An upright sandstone slab (LE001-016002-) aligned NNW-SSE is incorporated in a stone wall and leans slightly to the E. A field stone (dims 1.1m x 0.9m; T 0.3m), possibly a displaced standing stone, is on the wall 1.7m to the N.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
