The National Monuments Service's description

Known as Thomple-a-Churravolla or Corbally Church (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 282). A rectangular church (L c. 19.2m, Wth c. 5.7m, wall T. c. 0.9m) constructed of roughly coursed limestone. The N wall is destroyed. Remains of ope in E end of S wall. Otherwise featureless.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
