The National Monuments Service's description
Unlocated settlement near Clooneen church that is described by Carrigan as 'in the western part of the second field south of Clooneen graveyard, is a plot one quarter of an acre in area, full of little hillocks and called 'the Old Street'. An irregular enclosure in the same field, an acre in extent , and known as the Orchard' (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 139).
