The National Monuments Service's description

Located in a relatively level location (c. 56m OD) in a gently undulating landscape now characterised by tillage and pastoral farming, and c. 480 W of the course of the River Barrow. Located towards the SE corner of a large field in use for tillage purposes at the time of identification (Google Earth August 2022). This field also contains an cropmark enclosure (LA026-037----) and a cropmark field system (LA026-037001-), identified from aerial photographs taken in 1989, which are located c. 310m to the NW and c. 394m to the WNW respectively. This cropmark ring-ditch is clearly visible on Google Earth aerial photograph of the site (August 2022). It consists of a circular feature (ext. dims c. 11.8m N-S x c. 11.04m E-W) defined by a continuous ditch (Wth c. 1.32m) that can be traced along the entire circuit in the above aerial photograph. No evidence for an entrance gap.
