The National Monuments Service's description
An oval cropmark (diam. c. 42m NE-SW; c. 32m NW-SW) visible on Google Earth (imagery date: 28 June 2018), identified and reported by both Simon Dowling and Jean-Charles Caillère. The enclosure is located in the SW angle of Springmount estate, the E side appears to be incorporated in the townland boundary with Shanahoe townland. On the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map there is a cluster of trees at this location. The townland boundary kinks at the location of the enclosure, suggesting the enclosure pre-dates the boundary.
