Unlocated bridge within townlands described in The History of the Queens County as 'In deepening, the River Nore near Borris-in-Ossory, the remnants of an old oak bridge, about twelve feet below the modern channel of the river, were discovered' (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 59).
