The National Monuments Service's description
D-shaped shaped graveyard (int. dims. 53m N-S; 60m E-W) enclosed by a 19th century stone wall containing post 1700 memorials. Church (LA019-022----) located in centre of graveyard. S side of graveyard intersected by a public road running on an E-W axis. The church was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. According to the Patent Rolls of Edward VI, on Nov. 24th, 1550, Bernard Dempsie was presented to the vicarage of Bealaquillane [Clopook] (Comerford 1883-86, 128).
