The National Monuments Service's description

Unlocated standing stone within the townland which was described by H. roe in the 1930's in her unpublished article entitled the 'Rude Stone Monuments of County Laoighis' this stone was first described by D. O'Byrne in the nineteenth century as a standing stone in a field called Skaghnagcloch (p. 3)
