The National Monuments Service's description

Unlocated enclosure within townland that was recorded by Feehan as 'some years back - perhaps twenty years ago now - four wooden stakes were found over a distance of some five perches in the Bush Bog south of Clonenagh, where they lay on the gravel under the bog. The stakes had been made by splitting young trees into four or five lengths, were roughly pointed and perhaps 150cm long' (Feehan 1983, 319).
