Unlocated church within townland, described by Carrigan as the monastery of Dearmhagh in Ossory (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 212). Building depicted on 1563 Map of Leix-Offaly at 'Disert beach'. Described in the OS letters as the Church of Dysartbeagh (O'Flanagan 1933 vol. 2, 35).
