The National Monuments Service's description
Human bones were discovered when a bank collapsed durin work in a sand-pit, no trace of a cist or pottery was uncovered. Unlocated burials found in 1952 in quarrying of a sand pit in the townland of Cooltoran (OPW file), the burials were at a depth of c. 2m feet below the surface of the ground.
