The National Monuments Service's description

Unlocated church within townland, Carrigan describes the monument as 'Very slight traces of the walls of an ancient church are still to be seen in this townland, in a field on the bounds of Paddock, called the 'Kyle [ie. church] Meadow'. It was a very small church, having been apparently no more than 11ft. Wide on the inside. Beside it is the 'Burying Bush', a large sceach, around which lies in the graveyard. The original enclosing fence has been levelled, but its circuit, which was considerable, can be easily traced. Only unbaptised children are now buried here. There are no head-stones (Carrigan 1905, p. 175).
