The National Monuments Service's description
New monument uncovered during excavation by Jonathan Dempsey under licence number 03E1367 in advance of the M7 Heath-Mayfield motorway scheme.
Morett 14 was 47m WSW of Morett 13 (LA008-055). This skeleton of a young, probably female, adult was orientated N-S. It was in an extended supine position. The skeleton had been placed in a linear grave-cut with irregular edges, measuring 1.6m N-S by 0.55m by 0.16m deep (Bennett 2006, 296).
