The National Monuments Service's description
Depicted as a large circular grove of trees and not as an archaeological monument on first edition of the OS 6-inch map. Not indicated on current edition of the OS 6-inch map. Woodland that has been cleared all that remains is the field fence at N and E. It almost certainly was only a copse or landscape feature of 18th-19th century date.
